  • Late Cancellations and No-shows
    These fees are not punishments but are designed to moderately compensate me for loss of time when an appointment is canceled too late to find a replacement. Late cancellation fee (appointment is canceled less thatn 24hrs from scheduled time): $35 No-show fee (not attending appointment with zero notificiation): $65 These fees cannot be billed to your insurance. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask that you provide 24 hours notice which will have not have cancellation fee.
  • Do you accept my insurance?
    At this time I are currently able to accept: ​ United Health Care BlueCross BlueShield *I aim to provide you with your expected cost per session prior to our initial session. With that said, it is your responsibility to check with your insurance company to determine your in-network, or out-of-network, benefits; I will inform you of any changes were they to occur, but I will not be able to help you negotiate or advocate for you benefits directly with you insurance company.
  • Court and Litigation Limitations
    Please be aware that I provide strictly therapeutic services. I am not a forensic evaluator or parent coordinator, and I do not offer case studies, parent fitness evaluations, access to or visitation with minor children, home studies, or legal advice as these are outside of my scope of practice. Please see my informed consent form for more information about my fees and requirements.
  • Communication outside the office
    Other than session attendance, the only way I may be contacted is by office phone (254-290-8755). My office hours vary, and I am often not immediately available by telephone, but I routinely return calls within 24-48 hours during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Phone messages are answered during office hours often in between sessions and are often kept to a maximum of 5 to minutes in an effort to provide timely responses to all of my clients. Email and Texting. I do not use e-mail or text messages with clients regarding clinical matters. Social Media. I do not accept 'friend' requests from former or current clients, nor do I engage in communication or relationships via social media with clients. This is for the protection of your privacy as well as our therapeutic relationship. If we happen to encounter each other outside of the professional setting I will not address you unless you address me first. This is also for the protection of your privacy from those either of us may be with. I’m happy to return a friendly greeting but will allow you to take the initiative if you would like to do so.

  • Scheduling, Fees, and Payments
    I am currently accepting new clients and you are able to schedule a free 15-minute initial consultation through the client portal, link located at the bottom of this page or by calling my office number (254-290-8577). Private-pay Rates: Rate for Initial assessment: $125 Rate for 60-minutes session (50-minutes): $125 Insurance Rates: Depends on the carrier and you plan. Typical therapy sessions will be 50 minutes in duration at our agreed upon frequency of sessions. *If we find we are a good match, I aim to provide you with your expected cost per session prior to our initial session. With that said, it is your responsibility to check with your insurance company to determine your in-network, or out-of-network, benefits; I will inform you of any changes were they to occur, but I will not be able to help you negotiate or advocate for you benefits directly with you insurance company.
